#87The Cleveland Browns were founded in 1946 and joined the NFL in 1950, quickly becoming one of the league's most successful early franchises with four NFL championships before the Super Bowl era. The team plays home games at Huntington Bank Field on the shore of Lake Erie in downtown Cleveland. Fullback Jim Brown, widely regarded as one of the greatest running backs ever, spent his entire Hall of Fame career with the Browns in the late 1950s and '60s. Cleveland's AFC North rivalry with the Pittsburgh Steelers is one of the oldest and most bitter in football, while games against the Baltimore Ravens carry extra weight given that franchise's history as the original Browns team that relocated in 1996. The "Dawg Pound" end-zone bleacher section is famous for its rowdy, costume-heavy fan energy. Despite a long championship drought since the pre-Super Bowl era, the Browns maintain one of the most loyal fan bases in the league.
